With British Pie Week underway its time to show some respect for the humble British pie! Of course at Georgian House we feel the only plausible way to pay homage to such a dish is by consuming copious amounts of pie! But you haven’t made pie before I hear you say… how do you get the perfect flaky crust…prevent the filling from spilling… relax, put your pyrex down because this British Pie Week we’ve teamed up with the experts to show us how its done. Piebury Corner began in 2011 as a food stall in Paul and Nicky Campbell’s front garden in Highbury, selling handmade gourment pies to Arsenal fans on route to the Emirates Stadium. At Georgian House we need no excuse to encourage our guests to indulge in our delicious selection of pancakes, but on this occasion we are willing to let you in on a few trade secrets… Why not recreate our fluffy buttermilk pancakes at home with our Head Chef Fern’s buttermilk pancake recipe?
