Our Story

Our adventure began in 1851 with our flagship hotel, Georgian House. Built by our current owner Serena von der Heyde's great, great grandfather William Chinnery Mitchell alongside star builder at the time Thomas Cubitt. Fast forward many generations…Now we are on a mission to continue to share the Your Place experience through our growing collection of hotels, apartments and B&Bs! Your Places are waaaay ‘cooler’ than a traditional ‘hotel’ or B&B with an informal, relaxed service and beautiful spaces. Each of our locations ooze unique heritage and great central locations. An attentive service is certainly not scrimped on regardless of the property you choose!
