March 8, 2024 by ellie

Step into a world of enchantment and mystery at the 18th-century Georgian House Hotel, where a hidden gem of adventure awaits – The Wizard Chambers and Experiences. A haven for the curious and those yearning for a touch of magic, this unique experience transports guests to a realm of fantasy and wizardry.

Afternoon Tea
If you’re craving a taste of magic during daylight hours, our Wizard Afternoon Tea is a spellbinding experience. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00, our culinary wizards craft a three-course feast of sweet and savoury delights, accompanied by secret desserts and takeaway treats that fit both witches, wizards, and perhaps house elves. Immerse yourself in the ultimate wizard feast and pair it with a wizard potion or a curious colour-changing gin from our magical drinks menu.

Potion-Making Adventure
The Wizard Potion-Making experience is a hands-on adventure. Participants can create potions guided by the Head Wizard, unravel ancient scrolls, and use ingredients like goblin goo to make curious concoctions. The experience, priced at £25 per person (£20 for the non-alcoholic version), includes two cocktails or mocktails per wizard. Suitable for all ages, each magical potion-making session takes 20-30 minutes. The Wizard Chambers promises an immersive journey into the magical arts, providing a delightful escape into a world of fantasy and enchantment.

Stay Awhile
Want to extend your stay in chambers fit for a wizard? Stay in either the Wizarding or Enchanted Chambers. Be sure to complete your magical journey with our bewitched breakfast experience.

The Wizard Chambers
Curious guests can enjoy venturing to the Wizard Chamber on the lower ground floor of our 18th-century hotel. Pass through a portrait-lined passageway bathed in candlelight that casts dancing shadows across the walls. The space is created to conjure a mysterious and gothic feel, with each room featuring faux castle details. Imagine stained glass windows, stone walls, archways, trunks, cauldrons, four-poster beds hung with velvet curtains, and many other curious artefacts. Wood-burning stoves, cauldrons in fireplaces and tapestries complete the look.

Enchanted Chambers
Our Enchanted Chambers are smaller and cosier than our Wizard Chambers, yet still provide all of the magic. The double and twin Enchanted rooms are designed for couples or friends, concealed behind a bookcase door on the lower ground level of the hotel, after venturing along a portrait-lined passageway bathed in candlelight. Once again, the room features faux castle details, including stained glass windows, stone walls, archways, trunks, wood-burning stoves and cauldrons.

Book Your Wizarding Experience Today
Each experience is ideal for hen parties, bucks nights, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other event you want to celebrate with magic. We also accept private groups of 10+ guests for Wizard afternoon tea & potion making during week nights. Embracing Desk Rental in London’s Thriving Economy

March 7, 2024 by ellie

With its vibrant and dynamic economy, London has long been a global hub for business and innovation. There has been a significant shift in how professionals work in recent years, with a growing emphasis on remote work, freelancing, and flexibility. One trend gaining considerable traction in this evolving landscape is desk rental services. We will explore several reasons it’s worth considering and how it can help you professionally.

Flexible Workspaces
Traditional office spaces with long-term leases are becoming less attractive to businesses as many seek agility and cost-effectiveness in the modern market. Desk rental services, flexible workspaces, hot desks, dedicated desks, meeting rooms, and collaborative areas cater to modern professionals’ evolving needs. They also allow professionals to choose the environment that best suits their work style and additional perks that may have previously been unaffordable in their workspace.

Cost-Effective Solution
In a city where real estate prices are soaring, opting for desk rental proves to be a cost-effective solution for businesses looking to establish a presence in prime locations without the burden of hefty long-term leases. Desk rental services typically include utilities, maintenance, and access to amenities, reducing overhead costs and providing a more predictable monthly budget.

Networking Opportunities
One of the biggest advantages of desk rental is the opportunity for professionals to connect and collaborate across industries. Shared workspaces often host networking events, workshops, and social gatherings that foster a sense of community. Building a network through desk rental in a city as vast as London can open doors to new partnerships, collaborations, and business opportunities.

Adaptability in a Changing Landscape
London’s economy is fast-paced and constantly evolving. Desk rental offers the adaptability businesses need to navigate these changes effectively. Whether scaling up or down, companies can easily adjust their workspace requirements without the constraints of a fixed lease. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for startups and small businesses that may experience rapid growth or need to pivot quickly in response to market trends.

Enhanced Work-Life Balance
The traditional 9-to-5 work model is gradually giving way to a more flexible approach to work. Desk rental allows professionals to choose their working hours and locations, promoting a healthier work-life balance. Many shared workspaces enable individuals to align their work schedules with peak productivity hours in a comfortable and professional space, often close to home.

Searching For A Desk in Pimlico?
In the heart of London’s bustling economy, embracing desk rental is a strategic move for businesses and individuals alike. The flexibility, cost-effectiveness, networking opportunities, and adaptability offered by desk rental services align with the changing dynamics of work. Georgian House offers the Pimlico Pantry for your desk space needs. This quiet yet creative workspace has plenty of nearby sockets, natural light and a friendly on-hand team. It’s an ideal local office for professionals and freelancers who want deskspace alike. Award-winning coffee and delicious light bites help fuel your work day.
