If you need somewhere to work for the day that isn’t a café table or your kitchen, the Pimlico Pantry does a day pass. It runs Monday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm, costs £15 for the full day, and there’s no contract or commitment attached: you book the days you need and that’s it. Here’s how it works.
What you get
A desk in the Pimlico Pantry, which is a quiet but creative sort of room rather than a silent office. There’s natural light, plenty of sockets nearby, charging mats on the tables and superfast Wi-Fi throughout, plus a friendly team on hand if you need something.
The pricing is straightforward. Full day desk hire is £15, and unlimited tea and coffee is £15, so a full day with the kettle effectively on tap comes in well under what most central London coworking spaces charge for a hot desk.
When it’s available
| Day pass | The Cubitt Room | |
|---|---|---|
| Days | Monday to Thursday | By arrangement |
| Hours | 10am to 5pm | Booked by the hour |
| Cost | £15 for the full day | From £70 per hour |
| Space | A desk in a shared room | A private room for up to 12 |
| Kit | Wi-Fi, sockets, charging mats | Projector, flipchart, stationery, Wi-Fi, sockets |
| Suits | Focused solo work | Calls, interviews, meetings and anything confidential |
The day pass covers Monday to Thursday only, so if your working week runs to Friday, that’s the day to plan around. It’s worth knowing before you build a routine on it.
When you need a door that shuts

A shared room is fine for most work, but not for a performance review or a client call you’d rather nobody overheard. That’s what the Cubitt Room is for. It takes up to 12, comes with a projector, flipchart and stationery already in the room, and starts from £70 an hour, so booking it for a single call in the middle of a desk day is perfectly reasonable. Both spaces are on our meetings and events page.
Eating without leaving your desk
The daytime menu runs Monday to Thursday until 2.30pm: fresh sandwiches served with artisan crisps, salads, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. It means lunch is a five metre walk rather than a half hour round trip, which is quietly one of the better arguments for working here rather than at home.
If you’re an early starter, breakfast is served from 7am to 10am on weekdays, so you can eat before the desks open at nine. Menus are on our food and drink pages.
Getting here
We’re at 35-39 St George’s Drive in Pimlico, about a 12 minute walk from Victoria station, with Victoria Coach Station closer still.
There’s no car park here and the surrounding streets are permit-holders only during controlled hours, so if you’re driving in regularly it’s worth using a nearby car park. We have a discount code for pre-booked Q-Park stays, and reception can send it over.
Before your first day
There are steps from street level to the front door and the building has no lift. If that’s a consideration, get in touch before you book and we’ll tell you honestly what will work. Our accessibility page has the detail.
