The Cubitt Room takes up to 12 guests, starts from £70 an hour, and comes with the kit already in the room, so there’s nothing to hire in or carry down from Victoria. It’s the right size for a board meeting, a round of interviews, a training session or a half-day workshop, and it’s booked by email rather than through a portal. Here’s what you get and what to sort out in advance.
What’s in the room
Bright, comfortable and set up for working. There’s a projector, a flipchart and stationery already there, superfast Wi-Fi throughout, and plenty of plug sockets, which is the detail that quietly makes or breaks a day when 12 laptops need charging.
You won’t need to bring an extension lead or hire AV separately for a standard presentation. If your session depends on a particular setup, mention it when you enquire and the team will tell you what’s possible.
How it compares to hiring the Pimlico Pantry
We have two spaces, and they’re priced on completely different models, so it’s worth knowing which one you’re actually asking about.
| The Cubitt Room | The Pimlico Pantry | |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | Up to 12 | Up to 16, or 20 seated |
| Layout | A single meeting room | Three interlocking spaces |
| Cost | From £70 per hour | Minimum spend for private hire, £1,000 on weekdays and £1,200 at weekends |
| In the room | Projector, flipchart, stationery, Wi-Fi, plug sockets | Wi-Fi, natural light, plug sockets, charging mats, desk space |
| Suits | Meetings, interviews, training, workshops | Larger private events and celebrations |
For most small meetings, the Cubitt Room is the one you want. Hourly hire means a two-hour interview panel costs what a two-hour interview panel should, rather than triggering a full day’s private hire.
Feeding everyone
There’s a light lunch menu for meetings, and the Pimlico Pantry runs its own daytime menu every Monday to Thursday until 2.30pm: fresh sandwiches served with artisan crisps, salads, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

If anyone’s staying the night before, breakfast runs from 7am to 10am on weekdays and from 7.30am to 10.30am at weekends and bank holidays, which is early enough for a 10am start. Menus are on our food and drink pages.
Do send dietary requirements over with your numbers rather than on the day, so the kitchen can plan properly.
Getting people here
We’re at 35-39 St George’s Drive in Pimlico. Victoria station is about a 12 minute walk and Victoria Coach Station is closer still, so most delegates arrive on foot from Victoria without much trouble.
There’s no car park here, and the surrounding streets are permit-holders only during controlled hours, so anyone driving should plan on a nearby car park. We have a discount code for pre-booked Q-Park stays, and reception can send it over if you let us know in advance.
One thing to check before you confirm
Our building has no lift, and there are steps from street level to the front door. If anyone joining you has mobility needs, raise it when you enquire so we can confirm what will work rather than leave you finding out on the morning. Our accessibility page sets out the position across the building, and the team will give you a straight answer for your particular group.
How to book
Enquiries for the Cubitt Room go to pimlicopantry@georgianhousehotel.co.uk. Tell us your date, your rough timings, how many people and whether you’d like lunch, and we’ll come back with availability and a price for the session.
If some of your group are staying over, mention it in the same email. Check-in is from 3pm, reception is open 24 hours, and we have rooms across three buildings in Pimlico, so we can usually keep everyone on the same street.
Got a date in mind? Drop us a line at pimlicopantry@georgianhousehotel.co.uk, or have a look at both spaces on our meetings and events page first.
