VisitEngland has declared 2017 the ‘Year of Literary Heroes’, with the 200th anniversary of the death of Jane Austen, the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter, and the 75th anniversary of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five to name a few literary landmarks in the calendar.
